Internationalisation Strategy implementation is a prioty issue for the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia
On 13th of September, the Erasmus+ BOOST project participants had a meeting with the RA Deputy Minister of Education to discuss project activities, namely the Open Conference to be held in November 2017 at AUA.
The participants discussed the National Strategy on Internationalization of Armenian HE as a first output of WP1 of the project. The MoES has presented its reflections on the vision and priority areas on internationalization in the RA Education Strategy. It has been emphasized that the value added of the EU experience and knowledge in the development of the national internationalization strategy and its implementation on practical level is of high importance. Therefore, the EU partners would be requested to present their respective strategies, its development and transformation into actions at national level, its impact and key stakeholders involved in the process.
It was discussed that the MOES will share the draft outline of the Strategic Plan of Higher Education with the consortium partners. It has been agreed that the draft national internationalization strategy will be presented during the open conference in November for wider discussion and feedback from the main stakeholders.
